The Stripermania
is a fully rigged MAKO 284 Center Console powered by Twin
225hp MERCURY OPTIMAX outboard motors to get you to the
grounds fast.
It is custom rigged for light tackle fishing
with a 50 gallon baitwell, multiple large insulated fish
boxes, and the finest Raymarine electronics. With its 235
gallon fuel capacity, its range allows for offshore canyon
trips in season. There is a fully enclosed head for your
convenience.
While it is licensed for, and has the
capacity for six anglers, trips are normally limited to four
anglers to enjoy maximum attention and comfort. During the
spring and early summer a good deal of the fishing is done at
anchor and this boat provides a stable platform while at rest,
even when the wind is blowing.
The full-height transom and 360 degree
coaming bolsters provide anglers comfort and security when
fishing off the stern.
But make no mistake about it, this is a
serious fishing boat and not a luxury cabin cruiser and you
should always dress appropriately for the time of year with
the understanding that you will be fishing from an open boat.
