About the Captain
 Capt.
Lou Grazioso is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain with more
than 20 years experience fishing the fabled Raritan Bay/New
York Harbor waters. Long before he started Stripermania
charters or even considered getting his captain’s license he
was fishing here, learning the lessons that have made him
successful at what he does through trial and error.
Experience is the best teacher and Lou uses his vast
storehouse of knowledge about the area, its structure,
currents, river flow and tidal influences to find fish
consistently for his clients. He is an excellent guide, a
teacher who makes learning enjoyable, and simply fun to spend
time fishing with. That’s why so many of his clients are
regulars and most new ones learn about him through word of
mouth from anglers who have fished with him.
Spend a couple of days on the water with Lou and you’ll become
a regular, too.
